Pilgrimage

Whan that Aprill, with his shoures soote
The droghte of March hath perced to the roote
And bathed every veyne in swich licour,
Of which vertu engendred is the flour;

Alive in the world

I want to live in the world, not inside my head
I want to live in the world, I want to stand and be counted
With the hopeful and the willing
With the open and the strong
With the voices in the darkness
Fashioning daylight out of song
And the millions of lovers
Alive in the world

I'm in charge

It was back in nineteen forty-two,
I was a member of a good platoon.
We were on maneuvers in-a Loozianna,
One night by the light of the moon.
The captain told us to ford a river,
That's how it all begun.
We were -- knee deep in the Big Muddy,
But the big fool said to push on.

All at once, the moon clouded over,
We heard a gurgling cry.
A few seconds later, the captain's helmet
Was all that floated by.
The Sergeant said, "Turn around men!
I'm in charge from now on."
And we just made it out of the Big Muddy
With the captain dead and gone.

Grimm, brothers

Once upon a time is always
Once upon a time is now
Once upon a time is any situation
Your imagination will allow

Once upon a time's tomorrow
Or it can be yesterday
There is not a dream
That you cannot return to
Once you learn to dream the dreamer's way

And it's only love and it's only love that can wreck a human being and turn him inside out

And my heart is on that ship out in mid ocean.

I've looked

Just don't ask me for the truth if you choose to lie honey

And don't try to open my door with your skeleton key

Some folks seem to think I only got one problem

I can't find nobody as crazy as me
